About the RoleMy client is seeking skilled professionals to join their growing Security Operations Centre (SOC) team. As a provider of outsourced security monitoring and incident response services, they support a diverse range of customers with a Microsoft-centric technology stack.
This role is ideal for candidates with experience in IT support, security operations, or system deployment, looking to specialise in Microsoft-focused security services. My client offers comprehensive training, with opportunities to gain Microsoft security certifications, from Security Operations Analyst to Certified Security Administrator Associate.
Key Responsibilities-
Log and categorise security events, incidents, and customer inquiries.

Conduct initial event analysis and escalate issues as necessary.

Investigate security alerts and liaise with customers to confirm resolution.

Work within a rotating 24/7 shift schedule.

Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Experience installing and managing security software.

Knowledge of IT infrastructure, including:

Microsoft 365 suite

Azure Active Directory

Azure portal

Previous work in a SOC or cybersecurity team.

Hands-on experience with Security Incident and Event Management (SIEM) tools (e.g., Azure Sentinel).

Familiarity with Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) tools.

Relevant Microsoft security certifications.
