Salary: 40,000 - 45,000 + Car Allowance
Are you an experienced Fire & Security Projects Coordinator looking for a new opportunity? We're recruiting for a well-established company in Cambridgeshire that specializes in the installation and maintenance of fire and security systems. This role is perfect for someone with strong project management skills, excellent industry knowledge, and the ability to coordinate multiple projects efficiently.
The Role:
As a Fire & Security Projects Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of fire and security system projects from start to finish. Your role will involve planning, coordinating engineers, liaising with clients, and ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and in line with industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Coordination - Organizing and scheduling fire and security system installations and upgrades.
Client & Stakeholder Management - Acting as a key point of contact between clients, engineers, suppliers, and internal teams.
Resource Allocation - Assigning engineers and ensuring all materials, tools, and workforce are available for each project.
Compliance & Documentation - Ensuring all work meets industry regulations such as BS 5839, NSI, and BAFE.
Budget & Cost Control - Managing project costs, purchase orders, and staying within budget.
Site Coordination & Risk Management - Conducting site assessments, identifying risks, and ensuring health & safety compliance.
Supplier & Contractor Liaison - Managing relationships with external suppliers and subcontractors.
Progress Monitoring & Reporting - Tracking project milestones, troubleshooting issues, and providing regular updates.
What We're Looking For:
Strong knowledge of fire & security systems (fire alarms, CCTV, access control, intruder alarms).
Experience in project coordination within the fire & security industry.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
Strong understanding of industry standards & regulations.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, project management software, and CRM systems.
A full UK driving license.
