Reed Scientific is partnering with a global manufacturer of speciality materials used in various industries including aerospace, automotive medical. They have an opening for an experienced technical and quality manager to support them move forward with their technical, quality and health and safety requirements.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

Quality:

  • Assume responsibility for the design and implementation of Quality Procedures and supervise staff to ensure the procedures are adhered to.

Health & Safety:

  • Actively lead the implementation of the Health & Safety Policy and Management System, as well as assist in the design and implementation of Safe Systems of Work.

Additional Duties:

  • Provide technical support for customers during pre-sales and post-sales processes.
  • Address all product-related queries promptly.
  • Train customers to use products effectively.
  • Use customer feedback to identify potential new features or products.
  • Report on product performance and identify solutions to reduce support costs.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Proven work experience as a Technical and Quality Manager.
  • Solid technical background with hands-on experience within plastics/polymers.
  • Degree educated within a Chemistry or Materials Science field.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
