Our client a top50 law firm are seeking a legal secretary within their Employment department in Cambridge. We are seeking an articulate and forward-thinking Legal Secretary to provide professional, proactive, and high-level administrative support to a small group of busy, ambitious fee earners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor fee earners' inboxes daily and manage the inbox of junior staff during holidays.
- Manage diaries, including bringing urgent items to attention and maintaining a streamlined inbox.
- Coordinate meetings, meeting rooms, car park spaces, lunches, dinners, and transport arrangements.
- Assist with business development events.
- Format, paginate, number, and present documents in house style.
- Proofread all work.
- General PA duties, including booking restaurants and accommodation.
- Maintain and update client and other relevant contact details on our client database.
- Respond to internal and external telephone enquiries professionally.
- Support other members of the secretarial team and provide cover as necessary.
About You:
- Strong proactive administration and/or secretarial experience.
- Positive, enthusiastic, and professional approach.
- Strong attention to detail, high-level organisational skills, and reliability.
- Self-motivated with the ability to use initiative and a desire to learn.
- Flexibility to manage new tasks and work at pace when needed.
- Ability to create positive impressions and relationships with clients.
- Ability to liaise closely and seamlessly with colleagues in other offices and build good working relationships.
