Reed Cambridge Business Support is working with a local Cambridge business They are seeking a proactive Compliance Assistant to join their team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for career development in compliance, ideal for individuals eager to advance in this field.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Assist in coordinating and conducting compliance audits across the firm.
  • Manage the allocation and monitoring of legal and compliance training, maintaining central records for compliance purposes.
  • Support the firm's processes, including handling queries, conducting checks on complex cases, ongoing monitoring, and assisting with audits and policy updates.
  • Contribute to the firm's Data Protection processes by assisting with data breach management, completing Data Protection Impact Assessments, and monitoring staff training.
  • Provide general compliance support such as assisting with complaints resolution, fee recovery analysis, and updating terms of business.
  • Serve as a contact point for low-level Health & Safety and Facilities Management issues, maintaining the firm’s maintenance log.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience in compliance.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent administrative skills.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and methodically.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure.
  • Full driving license and use of own car insured for business use (desirable).
