Were working with a utilities company based in North Cambridge who are looking for a Transport Manager to join their team and oversee their large fleet of vehicles.
The role is a new position working within the team so it would be a great opportunity for someone to come into the team and put their own stamp on the position.
Typical duties would include:
- Managing daily transport operations.
- Overseeing the maintenance and service scheduling of the fleet.
- Assisting with route planning where required.
- Ensuring the company is compliant with transport regulations and company policies.
- Maintaining records of transport activities such as mileage, fuel usage & delivery logs.
The successful candidate:
- Previous Transport/Plant Management experience.
- Well organised with a high level of attention to detail.
- Good knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety regulations.
- Excellent communication skills.
