The HireWorks are currently working with a transport company based in Cambridge who are recruiting for an Assistant Engineering Manager on a full-time permanent basis.
The role would be working on a range of shifts across Monday to Friday with weekends being worked on a rota basis.
Typical duties would include:
- Manage and supervise the engineering team daily.
- Support and advise the team on vehicle maintenance and repair.
- Ensure vehicles meet high standards for customer presentation.
- Maintain team health and safety.
The successful candidate:
- Supervisory/management experience in vehicle maintenance.
- Strong technical vehicle maintenance knowledge.
- Would hold a relevant hands on engineering qualification.
- Excellent communication and team management skills.
- Strong commitment to health and safety.
