Due to expansion and being awarded several new contracts a well respected and growing regional main contractor is looking to appoint a Senior Site Manager to deliver a £10M Fit out of Healthcare centre in Cambridge.
The Client
- They were established in 2006 and has been growing steadily over the past five years
- They specialise in delivering project across Restoration, refurbishment and fit out, design & build & conversation with projects ranging from £5M - £25M.
- They currently have a turnover of around £50M with a strong pipeline of work secured for 2025 & 2026.
The Project:
- The scheme is a £10M cut & carve and full CAT A & CAT B fit out of healthcare centre.
- The project will start on site around March 2025 with a completion date set for early 2026.
- The project will consist of complicated M&E packages which based on top of the roof.
- First floor reception area will have high-end finishes 1st floor will consist of 23 consultant room, utility rooms etc.
- 2nd floor will be full operating theatre
The role:
- The Senior Site Manager will be responsible for leading the day to duties on-site reporting directly into an experienced Contracts Manager.
- You will have a team of 2/3 site managers reporting directly into yourself
- Working closely with subcontracts to sequence work in line with the project programme
- Weekly H&S inspection for direct staff and sub-contractors.,
- Setting up the procurement strategy alongside the Contracts Manager
- Call off materials to suit the projects progression.
- Value engineering and input into the programme both long and short term programmes.
- Monthly client reports.
The salary on offer:
Up to £80,000 basic plus travel allowance, pension &* healthcare
