Marketing Executive

Reed Business Support in Cambridge are working with a rapidly growing company who are excited to offer a newly created Marketing Executive position within their dynamic team. This role is based in our Cambridge office, with a focus on their Cambridge, Huntingdon, and Bury St Edmunds sites. The successful candidate will join them in delivering an integrated marketing plan, with the flexibility of combining office work with home-working under their agile policy.

Day to Day of the role:
  • Co-ordinate and deliver a structured programme of marketing activity to support business growth across various channels including digital, events, communications, media and sponsorship.
  • Work closely with the Marketing Manager to ensure campaign initiatives are aligned with the overall plan, within budget, and on-brand.
  • Liaise with third parties such as digital agencies, social media channels and creative/design agencies for smooth delivery of initiatives.
  • Drive forward digital marketing initiatives and manage a programme of events.
  • Co-ordinate and execute client information campaigns and assist local partners with external event awareness and booking.
  • Compile data lists to support partners in prospecting activities and schedule management.
  • Review and measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and provide monthly reports.
  • Develop and maintain databases and assist with the formation of the firm’s CRM system.
  • Develop a competitor monitoring programme.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years of marketing experience within the service sector.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing, including email campaigns, website maintenance and social media channels.
  • Proactive approach to establishing prospect data lists.
  • Ability to organise own time and work on own initiative.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must have a driving licence and access to own transport for office visits.
