Are you an Experienced Mechanical Technician keen to use your skill set in bespoke & innovative projects?

We are recruiting for one of Cambridge's research institutions & we are looking for a skilled Mechanical Technician to help support lab and production services across multiple labs.

You will get the chance to work across a broad range of research areas, providing support on designing, commissioning, upgrading and using mechanical engineering equipment to support engineers within the labs.

The right candidate will have:

  • Experience designing, developing, manufacturing mechanical equipment, from rough sketches and instructions.
  • Experience sourcing, ordering & stock check of mechanical rigs & equipment.
  • Experience of the maintaining and running labs
  • Mechanical Qualification equitable to HND/HNC
