Job Description: As a Technical Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting all departments across the company, ensuring smooth operations and driving continuous improvement. You will work closely with hardware and extrusion suppliers, manufacturing teams, and product development departments to enhance our fenestration products.

Key Responsibilities:

• As the Technical Manager you will providesupport across all areas of the business, including trade windows, commercial projects, and new build windows.
• Collaborate with hardware and extrusion suppliers to ensure high-quality materials are used and products meet required specifications.
• Liaise with manufacturing teams to address technical challenges, optimize production processes, and improve product quality.
• As the Technical Manager you will lead the development and refinement of fenestration products, ensuring they meet market demands and regulatory standards.
• Monitor industry trends and competitor products to keep our offerings competitive and innovative.
• Assist with troubleshooting and resolving any technical issues related to manufacturing or product performance.
• Develop and implement best practices to streamline production and improve efficiency.
• Train and mentor staff to enhance technical knowledge across departments.
• As the Technical Manager you will workwith the R&D team to support the design and prototyping of new products.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a production manager in windows and door manufacturing, and double glazing productswith a strong understanding of fenestration.
• Knowledge of hardware and extrusion supplier management.
• Strong technical problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Experience in product development, quality assurance, and double glazing manufacturing processes.
• Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with external suppliers and internal teams effectively.
• A proactive approach to managing technical challenges and driving continuous improvement.
• A degree or relevant technical qualification in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field is preferred.
