My client are leaders in the telecommunications industry and are increasingly growing and are looking for a Mechanical Technician.

Main Duties:

Testing electro-mechanical development products
Assembly of PLC controlled pneumatic test fixtures
Cataloguing development test samples
Maintenance of departmental equipment
Controlling departmental consumables
Use of workshop equipment and tools
Assembly of product components

Key Skills and Experience:

Previous experience within a Mechanical Technician type role
Understanding of mechanical/electrical/electronic drawings
Experience using measuring instruments

The salary for the position is £25-35k depending on experience
