Senior Assembly Technician

We are on the lookout for a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Assembly Technician to join our Operations team. Focuses on electromechanical assembly, SOP writing, and maintaining a well-organised workplace.
Day to Day of the role:
- Upgrade and assemble systems to the latest version, ensuring all components are correctly integrated and functioning.
- Troubleshoot and repair any issues that arise during the assembly and upgrading process.
- Write, update, and maintain essential process documentation
- Liaise with other departments to measure, record, correct, and prevent technical issues.
- Maintain detailed records of all assembly, testing, and troubleshooting activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards throughout the assembly process.
- Continuously seek ways to improve assembly processes and contribute to product development initiatives.
- Implement and maintain 5S methodology in the workspace to ensure a clean, organized, and efficient working environment.
- Provide ad-hoc support to the wider Operations group as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum A-level education within an Engineering discipline.
- At least 3 years’ experience in electromechanical assembly, test, or repair environment.
- Experience in developing assembly processes and enhancing documentation
- Familiarity with ISO9001, GLP/GMP is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Structured and methodical approach to tasks, with a keen eye for detail.
