Senior Assembly Technician

We are on the lookout for a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Assembly Technician to join our Operations team. Focuses on electromechanical assembly, SOP writing, and maintaining a well-organised workplace.

Day to Day of the role:

  • Upgrade and assemble systems to the latest version, ensuring all components are correctly integrated and functioning.
  • Troubleshoot and repair any issues that arise during the assembly and upgrading process.
  • Write, update, and maintain essential process documentation
  • Liaise with other departments to measure, record, correct, and prevent technical issues.
  • Maintain detailed records of all assembly, testing, and troubleshooting activities.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards throughout the assembly process.
  • Continuously seek ways to improve assembly processes and contribute to product development initiatives.
  • Implement and maintain 5S methodology in the workspace to ensure a clean, organized, and efficient working environment.
  • Provide ad-hoc support to the wider Operations group as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum A-level education within an Engineering discipline.
  • At least 3 years’ experience in electromechanical assembly, test, or repair environment.
  • Experience in developing assembly processes and enhancing documentation
  • Familiarity with ISO9001, GLP/GMP is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Structured and methodical approach to tasks, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
