One of my clients based in Cambridgeshire are currently on the search for an interim Senior Environmental Protection Officer for an initial 3-month term.

Duties include:

  • Assist the Council fulfil its obligations under the Environment Act 1995 (i.e submitting Air Quality Updated Screening Assessments and Progress Reports to DEFRA).
  • Assist with the Council's contaminated land responsibilities under the Environmental Protection Act 1990, including the development of their contaminated land strategy.
  • Investigate nuisance complaints made by the public including noise, smoke, odour, drainage, pests and hoarding under the Environmental Protection Act 1990

Contract Length: 3 Months
Pay Rate: 40-45
Start Date: ASAP
Hours p/w: 18.5-24 hours
Hybrid working: 1 day onsite, the rest spent remotely.
