Reed Cambridge Business Support is working with a shopfitting company in Cambridge. They are seeking an Administrator to join their team. This role involves managing the scheduling and coordination of maintenance activities, ensuring efficient operations and meeting service level agreements (SLAs). The ideal candidate will ideally have experience in the building sector and possess strong organisational and communication skills.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Create and update jobs on the Company’s Evolution system, including notes.
  • Input Reactive Maintenance (RM) and Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) appointments into engineers' diaries to meet SLAs.
  • Update and check client portals regularly.
  • Order parts internally as requested by engineers and track the progress of deliveries with suppliers.
  • Arrange appointments and return visits with Clients' Building Managers for engineers to complete jobs or fit additional parts.
  • Perform any other ad-hoc duties as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience in the building sector is preferred.
  • Demonstrable interpersonal skills over telephone, email, and in person.
  • Solid experience with computer systems, industry-specific systems, and data entry.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage clients’ issues and expectations effectively.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • High level of IT literacy, including proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload.
  • Flexibility and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Punctual with good timekeeping skills.
  • Adaptable to changing situations.
