I am recruiting on behalf of a multi site client in Cambridgeshire who are looking for a Senior Specifications Technologist to join the team on a full time and permanent basis. Their focus is predominantly food service with an element of retailer work. 

They are looking for a Senior Specifications Technologist to manage product specifications across a number of categories. You will be responsible for creating new specifications ahead of product launches and review existing ones to ensure compliance with customer and BRC standards. You'll also provide technical support to the development team on nutrition, ingredient declarations, and customer compliance.

Typical Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain specifications for QSR, food service, and retail products.
  • Ensure specifications are right first time and updated per customer/BRC schedules.
  • Support the development team with technical advice on nutrition and government guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Experience in food specifications and compliance standards.
  • Knowledge of BRC standards and nutrition.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to self-development.
