The Role:

This opportunity is for a Cleanroom Process Engineer (Front- End). It's a small cleanroom, with HUGE ambition and your role will be the important link between the process development and operations teams, focusing on photolithography and deposition of thin film layers.

Working within this close-knit, welcoming team, you'll develop and carry out projects to optimise current deposition and patterning processes, as well as leading the introduction of new materials and formulations, whilst investigating new processing methods.

The team will also get you involved with continuous improvement and you'll enjoy sharing your process knowledge and understanding towards resolving yield failures.

The role would be ideal for a grad, or someone with a couple of years' experience, looking to work within a small company where you can really work on some extraordinary technology and make a difference.

About You:

  • Degree / MSc / PhD in a suitable subject
  • Experience either working within industry or within research, with a focus on semiconductor processes
  • Practical photolithography and patterning skills with specific tool experience
  • Practical deposition skills with specific tool experience on sputter deposition, and solution coating methods
  • Able to plan and implement relevant optimisation experiments
  • Knowledge of SPC and process control tools
  • Solid understanding and working knowledge of polymer materials and metal films
  • Understanding of design tools i.e. Auto-cad and K-Layout
