Zest is recruiting for a Lead Engineer / Engineering Supervisor / Engineering Team Leader / Senior Engineer to join a reputable food processor in Cambrigeshire. If you're a multi-skilled engineer with leadership experience in a similar environment, then we want to hear from you!

Commutable from: Peterborough, March, Ely, Newmarket, Cambridge, Huntingdon, Bury St Edmunds and Thetford.

Salary: 50,000-55,000
Hours: Monday-Friday, day shift

Ideally, you will be a fully qualified, multi-skilled engineer with a food background and recent experience leading a multi-disciplined team of engineers. Good electrical knowledge is essential. Alternative industries such as packaging, pharmaceuticals, FMCG etc. will be considered.

As Lead Engineer, you will ensure all factory machinery is maintained factory production equipment is maintained safely and to standard. Minimise downtime via a timely response to breakdown situations. Implement PPM's and ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are met. Actively seek areas for improvement and play a lead role in projects. You will also stand-in for the Engineering Manager when required and ensure all procedures are followed.

Expect an energetic team of engineers who work closely together to service production and upheld the company's high standards.
