Project Manager

A great opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join an exciting large contractor operating a national service around the UK. The contractor work on a number of high profile sporting events and the successful Project Manager will join a successful team that is growing to manage an increasing programme of work. The successful Project Manager will be a self-starter with will get to work on large multi-disciplinary construction projects in an exciting and vibrant environment.

The opportunity would suit a Project Manager with a proven track record in delivering construction projects in time and to budget. The successful Project likely have the following qualifications and experience.

Person Profile

  • Experience in delivering multidisciplinary construction projects
  • Degree qualified or equivalent experience.
  • Strong commercial acumen.
  • Work well independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships with customers and suppliers.
  • Have a strong understanding of CDM.
  • Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations.

  • Assisting in the development of the construction programme
  • Management of projects to specification and budget
  • Procurement and management of contractors
  • Performance reporting
  • Cost control
