In this pivotal role, you will:
- Lead and grow a talented team of Project Managers.

You will oversee the delivery of the full project lifecycle, ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet or exceed customer and business expectations.
A key aspect of the role involves identifying and implementing process improvements and cost reductions whenever possible. You will establish and manage a clear programme of planned delivery over 6, 12, and 24 months, while maintaining rigorous resource tracking, monitoring, and reporting for all projects and programmes, and resolving any issues that arise. Additionally, you will drive continuous improvement of project frameworks and documentation approaches, coordinating with all departments to ensure projects are resourced effectively and positioned for success.
you will set the overall direction, priorities, and development for the team, ensuring alignment with strategic goals. You will focus on attracting, engaging, and developing high-calibre talent to meet both operational and strategic requirements, while providing strong leadership and effective resourcing. Additionally, you will establish and oversee consistent, efficient methods for achieving key departmental objectives, driving success across the team.
We are seeking a target-driven and commercially aware individual to lead a team of project managers in delivering successful, profitable projects. The ideal candidate will bring:
- A strong personal drive to succeed and the ability to inspire and motivate others to achieve success.
- Proven experience in developing and leading a team of project managers, along with enhancing processes and procedures.
- Familiarity with major project management methodologies such as PRINCE2, Agile, or similar frameworks.
- A track record of delivering projects with significant and measurable positive business outcomes in previous roles.
- Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to engage and develop team members and work effectively across the wider business.
- Sound financial acumen, including a solid understanding of P&L statements and balance sheets.
- A demonstrated ability to manage priorities effectively and handle challenging, complex situations.
- The capability to escalate project delays or impacts to senior management promptly and appropriately.
- An inquisitive mindset, willing to question established practices in a constructive way.
- Strategic thinking skills to deliver on broader business goals while maintaining attention to detail.
- A relevant qualification in one or more major project management methodologies.
