Due to a growing pipeline of projects, the company is seeking a motivated Assistant Quantity Surveyor to support their team. They are committed to nurturing talent and providing comprehensive training to help you grow into the role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Commercial Manager on a variety of fit-out projects.
- Assist in cost estimation, budgeting, and financial reporting for ongoing projects.
- Support the preparation of tender documents, contracts, and bills of quantities.
- Monitor project costs, variations, and valuations.
- Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to gather cost data and ensure project efficiency.
- Help to manage project budgets and contribute to financial decision-making.
- Assist with post-contract activities such as valuations and final account preparation.
About You:
- Ideally, a degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Some experience or knowledge of quantity surveying, especially in fit-out or construction projects (internships or work placements will be considered).
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
- A proactive attitude with a desire to learn and develop professionally.
