Leading main contracting organisation seeks a Senior Quantity Surveyor with strong NEC contract knowledge to join them on a contract basis in Cambridge,
This contract role is predominantly site-based, 3 days a week, to enable coordination and alignment with the site team. You will work on the delivery of an 8million project which is due to complete in June 2025.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the commercial delivery of the project
- Managing site-based commercial activities to ensure successful project delivery
- Handling subcontractor procurement processes from start to final account
- Executing NEC change management processes autonomously
- Coordinating project CVRs and reporting with profit take and revenue recognition
- Managing upstream change from Early Warning Notices to Implementation
- Supporting the Quantity Surveyor with CVR/reporting processes where necessary
Job Requirements:
- Extensive experience in quantity surveying working for a main contractor
- Strong understanding and experience with NEC contracts
- Proficient in end-to-end subcontractor management
- Competency in CVR/reporting processes
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
