We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a prestigious Highways Public Realm scheme in Cambridgeshire. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a high-profile project with a duration of at least one year, offering a competitive day rate and the benefit of operating outside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
路Manage all aspects of cost control and commercial management on the project.
路Prepare and monitor budgets, valuations, and cost reports.
路Handle subcontractor procurement and management.
路Ensure compliance with NEC contract terms and resolve contractual disputes when needed.
路Collaborate closely with the project team to ensure delivery within budget and on schedule.
路Liaise with clients and stakeholders to maintain strong working relationships.
Essential Criteria:
路Demonstrable Highways or UK Tier 1 contractor experience.
路Proficient in NEC contracts and their practical application.
路Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
路Proven ability to manage large-scale public realm or infrastructure projects.
