Senior National Account Manager

INTRO:

Henderson Brown is delighted to announce an exclusive partnership with a renowned Food Manufacturer.

Our client has a legacy of providing high-quality food products into UK and International retail. They have recently diversified and are looking to appoint an inspirational and exciting Senior National Account Manager who can bring their new product to life with the experience and knowledge of managing some amazing brands in multiple categories.

OVERVIEW:

This role is going to be extremely rewarding for the right person. If you understand UK retail and have worked across both brand and OL this role is perfect for you. You'll need not only to be a first-rate commercial manager who understands brands but also someone who can push ahead with new customers and build new businesses.

As a result, they are being quite specific in whom they are looking for, first-class commercial management skills are taken as read, but they want energy, they want enthusiasm and they want someone who in knowledgeable and can deal not only with day-to-day commercial issues with existing customers but someone who can spot other opportunities with new customers and develop the strategy to engage with these further.

PERSON SPEC:

We are looking for someone who has extensive experience within FMCG, specifically food, can learn and read the market fast, and problem-solve at speed, you will need to think laterally, and make rational decisions quickly, communicating effectively with both internal and external stakeholders to push through business and bring results.

It's important the incoming incumbent has high energy and likes a team that operates with a strong level of intensity. This role comes with a tremendous amount of whitespace, but we need someone resourceful, who is self-motivated and thrives on a challenge.
