Social Worker - Family Support and Safeguarding Team
Salary: 39,548 - 42,248 per annum (pro-rata if part-time)
Retention Payments: Up to 7,900 over 3 years (starting after your first full year of employment)

We are seeking passionate and enthusiastic Social Workers to join our Family Support and Safeguarding Team. If you have the child's voice at the heart of your work and are dedicated to creating sustainable change for children and families, we want to hear from you!

About the Role
As a Social Worker in the Family Support and Safeguarding Team, you will:

  • Manage a caseload of Child in Need, Children in need of Protection, Public Law Outline, and care proceedings for children up to the age of 18.
  • Use a Motivational Interviewing approach, working in partnership with children and families to drive positive outcomes.
  • Work within a multi-disciplinary team, including adult mental health, drug and alcohol recovery, and domestic abuse workers.
  • Act as the lead professional in safeguarding, ensuring that child protection procedures are followed effectively.
  • Produce child-focused reports and plans for various forums, including court, reflecting the child's experience.
