About the RoleAs a Social Worker in the Children in Care team, you will:

  • Act as the lead professional, responding to safeguarding concerns promptly and effectively, in line with child protection procedures.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, identifying and responding to needs, and developing SMART action plans to achieve clear outcomes.
  • Build strong, empowering relationships with children, young people, and their families to facilitate positive change.
  • Produce child-focused reports and plans for a variety of forums, including court, reflecting the child's experience.
