About the RoleAs a Social Worker in the Assessment Team, you will:

  • Act as the lead professional, ensuring all safeguarding matters are addressed promptly and effectively, in line with child protection procedures.
  • Conduct assessments, responding to needs, building on strengths, and developing clear, SMART action plans.
  • Engage with children, young people, and their families, developing meaningful, empowering relationships to improve outcomes.
  • Produce child-focused reports and plans for various forums, including court, reflecting the child's experience.
