We are currently recruiting on behalf of one of our Cambridge based clients who are looking for an Application Support Specialist to join their team on a full time, permanent basis with options of hybrid working.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Providing 1st line support for staff members on bespoke, in-house applications, and escalating where necessary
- Providing training and support on systems to both technical and non-technical staff
- Working closely with the IT and Operations team to maintain and update software
- Working with large datasets and assist with data management across the company
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Contribute and assist with software projects and upgrades
The successful candidate will have:
- Experience in a similar technical role such as Service Desk or Helpdesk
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills enabling you to impart technical knowledge to a range of stakeholders
- Ability to learn on new systems quickly and work in a fast paced environment
- Have excellent planning, organisational and troubleshooting skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
