SEN Teaching Assistant – (Learning disabilities and Autism) needed!

REED Education work closely with a special educational needs (SEN) school, located just outside of Cambridge, by supply SEN Teaching Assistant's on both long-term contracts and on a permanent basis.

Starting from April 2025, the school and I are looking for 3 SEN Teaching Assistants to join their growing and friendly team to support the pupils in this fast paced and modern SEN school.

The Role (SEN Teaching Assistant):

  • Supporting children on a 1:1 or small group basis
  • Developing each child academically, socially and emotionally
  • No two days will be the same
  • Full time hours based on school term time (32.5 hours per week)
  • Working inside and outside the classroom

What you will need:

  • Experience working with special educational needs (children or adults)
  • A positive and enthusiastic attitude to work
  • Understanding that each child will require an individual approach and support plan
  • Good team work and communication skills
  • Enhanced DBS check (we can provide this)
