Randstad are working with a a number of schools around Cambridge who are looking for a Teaching Assistant with experience supporting children with Social, Emotional and Behavioural needs to work with their pupils.If you are local, or you're willing to travel, then apply today!Your responsibilities:* Managing challenging behaviour and supporting the class teacher* Using imagination and innovation to enhance the learning experience of all pupils* Working with small groups and 1:1* Liaising with fellow colleagues to get the most out of your pupils' development* Supporting children to learn both in the classroom and out in the communityYour Requirements:* A caring and thoughtful personality* Experience working or volunteering with SEN/SEMH/EBD pupils is desirable * Qualifications or knowledge of Makaton, Moving and Handling, PECs or Team Teach is desirable but not essentialThe successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a school with a thriving, challenging and happy environment.
