About the Role:

As a Qualified SEN Teacher at this school, you will play a vital role in creating a positive and stimulating learning environment where each student feels empowered to succeed. This involves:

  • Planning and delivering creative and differentiated lessons tailored to the individual learning needs of our students.
  • Implementing a variety of teaching strategies and adapting your approach to cater to different learning styles.
  • Working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including teaching assistants, therapists, and parents, to provide holistic support for each student.
  • Assessing student progress and development, creating personalised learning plans to promote growth and achievement.

About You:

  • You are a qualified teacher holding QTS or an equivalent qualification.
  • You are passionate about working with children with special educational needs, demonstrating empathy, patience, and a commitment to inclusion.
  • You possess excellent communication, classroom management, and behaviour management skills.
  • Experience working in an SEN setting is desirable but not essential.
