Stores Operative| £13.20ph | | Cambridge

Rubicon’s client is a well-established manufacturing company within the Aviation sector who are current going through a period of growth. They are on the hunt for a new Stores Operative on a permanent basis, to play a pivotal role in contributing towards the smooth running of business operations.

As the new Stores Operative, you’ll benefit from:

As a Stores Operative, you’ll:

  • Ensure correct allocation and monitoring of tooling and fixtures throughout the production process
  • Maintain an up-to-date tooling register to facilitate efficient production flow
  • Communicate with suppliers regarding deliveries and resolve any discrepancies
  • Maintain accurate records within the MRP system
  • Perform lifting of products as per manual handling procedures

To be the successful Stores Operative, you’ll have:

  • Previous experience within an engineering environment (desirable)
  • Familiarity with SAGE/MRP systems for stock allocation, issuance, transfer, and level checking
  • Advanced IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
  • An ambitious attitude and desire to learn
  • Good work history
