Sonic Summary

The Royal Papworth Hospital NHS Trust is seeking a specialist Speech and Language Therapist to join their Speech and Language Therapy Team.
Candidates must have an HCPC recognized Speech and Language Therapy qualification and current registration with HCPC.
The role requires competencies in Videofluoroscopic Swallow Studies, tracheostomy, and Level 2 FEES, along with current experience managing complex dysphagia cases in an acute adult setting.
Experience in line management and working with acutely ill patients with communication impairments is also necessary.
The position offers a competitive salary of £35,392 to £42,618, requiring a minimum of two years of relevant experience.

To provide comprehensive specialist Speech and Language Therapy Services to Royal Papworth Hospital NHS Trust as part of the Speech and Language Therapy Team.

Qualifications & Education

HCPC recognised Speech and Language Therapy Qualification
Current registration with HCPC
Videofluoroscopic Swallow Study competencies
Completed tracheostomy competencies
Completed Level 2 FEES competencies

Experience

Current experience managing a complex dysphagia caseload in acute adult setting relevant to the post.
Experience of line management
Experience of acutely ill patients with communication impairments
