We seek a dynamic individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is dedicated to developing a world-class operations function to support the company's growth potential. You will handle both short-term tactical tasks, such as expediting deliveries, and long-term strategic actions, such as building strong supplier relationships to align key component supply with business objectives.

Major Responsibilities and Tasks:

  • Source products and negotiate with suppliers
  • Oversee the forecasting process and manage any resulting liabilities

  • Maintain inventory levels, stock turn reports, and KPIs
  • Identify and implement process improvements within the supply chain

Competencies:

Essential:

  • Experience scaling manufacturing and order fulfilment for a Tier 1 global customer
  • Extensive supply chain experience in an engineering or technical manufacturing environment
  • Strong financial management skills with a focus on KPIs
  • Excellent planning, communication, influencing, and negotiation abilities
  • Proficiency in IT

Desirable:

  • Experience in a similar role within a high-growth environment
  • Flexible working from home with occasional visits to the office near Cambridge as needed
  • Travel as required
