Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented RF Test Engineer to join a fast-growing development team. This role will focus on conducting comprehensive RF measurements, setting up and developing measurement systems for product evaluation, and providing crucial feedback to ensure alignment between design and hardware. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in ensuring our RF modules meet high-quality standards through rigorous testing and precise documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • RF Measurements & Evaluation: Conduct RF measurements to assess and characterize product performance.
  • Measurement System Setup & Development: Design and implement measurement systems for effective characterization of RF products.
  • Feedback & Collaboration: Provide timely, accurate feedback to development engineers, ensuring close correlation between design and hardware.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed and accurate records of measurement results and processes.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with teams across departments to define measurement requirements and strategies.
  • Test Automation: Develop scripts or automated processes for test systems, ensuring repeatability and efficiency.
  • Compliance & Calibration: Ensure adherence to RF test standards, and perform equipment calibration when necessary.
  • Troubleshooting: Address and resolve issues during the testing phase and participate in design reviews to offer insights based on measurement outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of RF concepts such as S-parameters, impedance matching, gain, noise figure, and linearity.
  • Experience with RF test equipment, including network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and signal generators.
  • Proven ability to conduct RF measurements and develop corresponding measurement setups.
  • Knowledge of RF measurement standards and compliance testing.
  • Ability to interpret schematics and RF system-level diagrams.
  • Experience in scripting or programming for test automation (e.g., Python, MATLAB).
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent documentation skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with a team-oriented approach.
  • Proactive problem-solving ability and resilience in navigating ambiguity.
