Robert Walters has partnered with a leading organisation in Cambridge that is looking to expand its projects team with the addition of a Technical Project Manager to support the delivery of current and upcoming IT projects.
Job Description
- Ensure each allocated project is developed through a project briefing process with users prior to feasibility and commencement, using agreed PRINCE2 templates.
- Establish internal and external project reporting structures based on the size and scope of each project, using agreed processes.
- Manage and monitor financial budgets for assigned projects, ensuring stakeholders are promptly notified of any potential budget overruns.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of the Microsoft Technology Stack, with experience configuring and administering Windows-based servers.
- Understand various areas of technology, including Infrastructure, Networking, Software, and Databases.
Requirements
- PRINCE2 Practitioner or equivalent industry-standard project methodology qualification.
- Experience with system migrations from on-premise to cloud environments.
- Proven budget management skills.
- Strong stakeholder management and reporting experience.
