An exciting opportunity to join an established FM service provider working in a Commercial Office Building in Cambridge.
GH Engage are currently recruiting a Maintenance Supervisor to work in a Large Commercial Building in Cambridge. The ideal candidate would live in commuting distance to Cambridge.
The successful candidate will be carrying out maintenance and reactive tasks on site .
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Facilities Maintenance and have a proven track record in commercial maintenance.
This position would be ideal for a Maintenance Supervisor currently in a similar position who is keen on training and a new opportunity. The successful candidate will have experience within Electrical Maintenance carrying out installs, repairs, HV Shutdowns and maintenance. In return the company are offering up to 52,000 with overtime, training and development.
Working hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- To supervise contracted and reactive M&E and fabric maintenance services and additional services when required, in accordance with statutory, legislative and contractual obligations.
- Day to day liaison with customers, and their representatives on matter relating to service delivery and additional works.
- To support the contract manager in the preparation of additional works quotations.
- Ensure a professional image of the company is presented to clients and end users at all times, exhibiting high level of customer service delivery
- In addition to the duties and responsibilities listed, the jobholder is required to carry out such other duties as may be required and as may be assigned by senior management from time to time
- Supervise, support and develop a technically competent engineering team of a size defined by the business, ensuring all duties are carried out in a safe manner.
- Manage the day to day operation and administration of safe systems of work processes.
- Develop client relationships in order to maximise the opportunity for additional revenue and contract retention.
- Respond to client needs for technical support in order that they can maximise their assets life expectancy and reliability.
- Ensure that critical spares are available to carry out maintenance of the installed plant and systems
- Ensure that all sub-contractor and material purchases are executed using company wide procurement procedures, with costing information recorded correctly against contracted and additional works as required.
- Support the Contract Manager with month end financial procedures to ensure that WIP, accruals and purchase commitments are updated on a monthly basis.
- Attend meetings with the Customer and other Stakeholders as required.
- Providing supporting cover for other team members
- Ensure that all maintenance records, and supporting documentation are completed to the required standards
- Ensure that subcontractors are appropriately supervised to comply with contractual requirements, specification, and site operating protocols
- Ensure that additional work opportunities are identified and scoped correctly, to include the necessary direct and indirect resources, materials, plant, supervision and management.
- Supervise PPM (statutory and routine), reactive and additional works to ensure delivery on time in accordance with contracted service levels, on an allocated portfolio of maintenance contracts.
- To identify additional work opportunities and provide input into scope, resourcing, costing, and completion timescales.
Required Skills:
- Level 3 in Electrical
- 18th Edition
- HVAP (Current or Expired)
- Experience of working in a building services environment.
