Lecturer in BricklayingReed Further Education is supporting a college in Cambridge in their search for a dedicated Lecturer in Bricklaying. This role is based at a vibrant, state-of-the-art campus where you will join a high-performing Construction team. Day-to-day of the role:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching across practical and theoretical sessions in Bricklaying.
  • Support and mentor students, helping them achieve their career goals.
  • Contribute to curriculum development to ensure courses remain engaging and industry relevant.
  • Collaborate with industry professionals to maintain high standards and up-to-date teaching methods.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Industry experience in Bricklaying/Construction.
  • A Level 3 vocational qualification in Bricklaying.
  • A passion for teaching and inspiring the next generation of tradespeople.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Eligibility to receive a levelling up premium payment if you meet specific criteria, potentially adding up to £6,000 per year to your salary.
