Reed Further Education are working with a college in Cambridge who is excited to offer a full-time, permanent opportunity for a Lecturer in Travel and Tourism. This role focuses on delivering high-quality teaching across various pathways from Levels 1 to 5. Join their dynamic team in the Sport, Uniformed Public Services, Travel, and Business Management Department and contribute to a diverse and engaging range of programmes.

Job Title: Travel and Tourism Lecturer

Position: 37 hours Mon to Fri

Role type: Permanent

Location: Cambridge

Salary: £28,385 to £41,782 per annum

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences across various levels.
  • Provide tutorial support and guidance to learners.
  • Contribute to marketing, recruitment, course development, and student progression.
  • Engage with continuous professional development activities to enhance teaching practice and learner outcomes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Current industry knowledge in the business and travel sector.
  • Degree-level qualification (or equivalent professional qualifications/industry experience).
  • Full teaching qualification.
  • Demonstrable relevant teaching experience.
  • Strong commitment to student success and curriculum enhancement.
