Aspire People are seeking a proactive and reliable Cover Supervisor for a well-respected secondary school in Cannock.

Aspire People are currently looking for a dedicated Cover Supervisor to join a supportive and dynamic team at a secondary school in Cannock. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a friendly, professional environment, providing essential support to both students and teaching staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise classes during teacher absence, ensuring students remain on task and productive.
Follow lesson plans provided by the absent teacher, ensuring a consistent learning experience.
Manage classroom behaviour and promote a positive learning environment.
Provide assistance to students when needed, offering guidance and support as required.
Ensure the safety and well-being of students at all times.
Report any issues or concerns to the appropriate staff members.
Support the school's policies and procedures, particularly those related to safeguarding.
Requirements:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well with students and staff.
A proactive and adaptable approach to managing classroom environments.
Previous experience working with young people (preferably in a school setting) is desirable but not essential.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
A calm, approachable, and professional manner.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
