An experienced or trainee NDT Technician is required to join a well-established provider of non-destructive testing to the welding and fabrication industry to provide NDT services at their fully equipped facility in Cannock, Staffordshire and on site at customer premises or onsite locations.Certified to ISO 9001:2015, they have provided services to their clients for over 40 years.This is a full-time, permanent role, working a minimum of 40 hours per week, for which a salary range of £30,000 to £39,000 is offered, depending on experience and certification held, plus an annual bonus, company pension and private health insurance.  A company van and fuel card will be provided.  Duties and responsibilities of the NDT Technician include:
  • Perform Non-Destructive Testing in accordance with relevant standards and procedures.
  • Interpret and evaluate test results in line with given acceptance standards.
  • Produce clear and concise test reports.
  • Always display a high level of integrity and professionalism.
NDT Technician must have these skills and experience:
  • Previous NDT experience would be advantageous but not essential
  • PCN Level 2 Qualifications in at least one of the following would be advantageous but not essential – MPI (MT), DPI (PT) or Radiographic Testing (RT) of welds.
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work alone and as part of a team
  • Be willing to travel and work away when required
