We are currently recruiting for a Gas Engineer to work for our well-known client based in Burntwood. The position is permanent role working Monday to Friday and they are looking for someone to start as soon as possible.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair gas appliances, including boilers, cookers, and heating systems.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of gas systems to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
  • Perform plumbing tasks as required in conjunction with gas installations.
  • UtiliSe power tools and hand tools effectively for assembly and repairs.
  • Work as part of a team, as well as alongside other trades such as carpenters, electricians.
  • Be willing to get stuck in with smaller plumbing works such as tap changes, radiator installs, etc.


Qualifications and Experience:

  • Gas Safe registration is essential.
  • Experience working with Oil would be preferred but not essential.
  • Proven experience as a Gas Engineer.
  • Strong knowledge of gas safety regulations and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
