My client based in Cannock is looking for a dynamic HR Business Partner to join their team, reporting directly to the Head of HR Business Partnering.

You will act as a bridge between corporate HR strategy and day-to-day operations, offering expert HR guidance and support to internal clients. Your focus will be on adding value in areas such as workforce planning, talent management, fostering an inclusive culture, and enhancing employee engagement.

  • Cannock based - 2 days a week on site and 3 from home.
  • There will be monthly travel to different sites of the business
  • £55,000 to £60,000 per annum 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Establish trusted partnerships with leadership teams to drive the implementation of People Plans and business projects
  • Deliver professional HR services to leaders across all HR areas, including employee relations, rewards, performance management, selection, engagement, talent management, inclusive culture, training, and data analysis 
  • Assist in creating talent pipelines across the organization, acting as a 'talent broker' to promote internal mobility and career growth 
  • Utilize deep HR knowledge and data insights to diagnose issues and collaborate on effective solutions 
  • Promote a consistent employee experience and inclusive culture, supporting cultural change initiatives 
  • Work closely with Centres of Excellence, such as recruitment, training and development, and rewards, to provide a seamless and proactive HR service to the business 
  • Lead and manage projects to ensure the successful delivery of People Plans, with support from Centres of Excellence.
  • Provide high-level employee relations advice, coaching, and guidance to leaders, and refer to the Employment team when necessary.
Education & Experience:
  • Chartered member of CIPD (level 5 or above).
  • At least 5 years of progressive HR experience.
  • Previous experience in HR Business Partnering, HR generalist, or advisory roles.
  • HR Strategy experience is essential 
  • Project management experience and providing HR expertise on specific projects.
  • Experience working in a union environment is preferable.
