Application Consultant - West Midlands - £85,000 per annum

DCS Technology in partnership with our client who are a Microsoft Gold Partner and consultancy we are searching for an Application Consultant to join their rapidly growing team based in the Midlands.

Role overview:

As Application Consultant, you will deliver effective and informative sessions related to Business Central and NAV functions within Microsoft 365, whilst providing technical support and recommendations to clients and internal colleagues.

What will you get up to?

  • Provide technical advice: Assist clients in the configuration of Business Central/Nav or "add on" software during full system walk throughs. This will be done either remotely or on client sites when required.
  • Deliver smooth systems: Scope out and identify functionality change requirements that will extend the life-span or efficiency of standard applications on client systems.
  • Analyse and deliver: Carry out GAP analysis, product handovers, and verify appropriate configurations throughout project cycles ensure all milestones are signed off ahead of integration.
  • Test for quality: Complete daily application testing and UAT support in line with company and clients service level and quality agreements.
  • Be a team player: Act as point of escalation to project managers and junior consultants in complex consultancy queries.
  • Cross-functional communication: Liaise with business SME's in teams such as sales and marketing to create effective and informative content to maximise customer engagement.
  • Hit the deadlines: Work to self-set and SLA deadlines to effectively manage customer expectations and deliver quality services.

What will you bring?

  • Proven experience with Dynamics NAV and Business Central - as key user or evidence of leading implementations.
  • Ability to solve problems and deliver top quality service in a deadline driven environment
  • Strong analytical skills and sharp attention to details
  • Confident and clear communicator - verbal and written
  • Customer-centric mindset - a focus on delivering great results
  • Background in tech support specifically with Microsoft Dynamics 365 business applications (Dynamics for sales, NAV and business central)
  • Recognised finance qualifications such as AAT Level is highly desired
  • Significant experience with solution implementation (requirement gathering through to go live)

Salary: £65,000 to 85,000 per annum
