Vehicle Damage Assessor / Vehicle Estimator

Location: Staffordshire

Basic Salary: Up to £50,(Apply online only) DOE

Working Hours: 45 Hours, Monday - Friday

Extras: 30 Days Holiday, Bonus Scheme

Our client, a leading accident repair centre, is looking for a talented and efficient Vehicle Damage Assessor / Vehicle Estimator to join their dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art facility with industry-leading standards.

Qualifications Required for Vehicle Damage Assessor / Vehicle Estimator:

  • Essential Qualifications: ATA, NVQ, IMI, or SVQ in Vehicle Damage Assessment or Estimating
  • Experience: Previous experience as a Vehicle Damage Assessor within a busy body shop or repair centre
  • Skills: Strong up-to-date knowledge of vehicle repair techniques and familiarity with Audatex software
  • Desirable: ATA qualification, with an up-to-date Audatex certificate

Key Responsibilities of Vehicle Damage Assessor / Estimator:

  • Perform detailed assessments and damage estimation for accident-damaged vehicles
  • Follow repair techniques in line with manufacturer specifications and industry standards
  • Maximise profitability by employing effective sales techniques
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by providing high-quality estimates and advice
  • Maintain high standards of administration and documentation for the department
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure timely and cost-effective repairs
  • Monitor compliance with retailer/dealer policies, manufacturer guidelines, and industry standards
