Staffbase has been appointed to recruit for the position of Maintenance Engineer to undertake planned and reactive maintenance activities at our client's busy recycling plant near Cannock.

The Role:

Reporting to the Engineering Director you will be responsible for delivering effective planned and reactive electrical and mechanical maintenance activities. Duties will include but is not limited to the following;

  • 3 phase electrical fault find and repair, motors, inverters, contactors, sensors, relays, control panels etc etc.
  • Mechanical maintenance and repair, conveyors, crushers, granulators, hammer mills and more
  • Hydraulics, pumps, motors, gear boxes, bearings etc etc
  • Ensure all relevant paperwork is accurately completed
  • General site maintenance duties

Candidate:

You will be an experienced mutli-skilled engineer ideally with previous maintenance experience in a heavy industry environment such as recycling, aggregates, foundry sectors.

You will have excellent electrical and mechanical engineering skills and ideally you will have a formal electrical and mechanical engineering qualifications e.g. NVQ, HNC or 18th edition wiring regs.

Applicants will be hard working, highly motivated and capable of developing an effective maintenance function.

Hours of Work:

Monday to Friday 40 hours + OT
