Alexander Daniels are recruiting for a Junior Finance Assistant for leading business based in Cannock. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing business and gain experience supporting the wider finance team. This is a 6 month FTC which has the opportunity to go permanent upon successful completion.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with the administration of the Purchase ledger
  • Maintaining accurate vendor data for all trading subsidiaries
  • Matching invoices to purchase orders and delivery notes
  • Registering Purchase ledger queries & invoices
  • Statement reconciliations
  • Any other adhoc tasks as required

Essential requirements:

  • Proven record within a relevant role
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines whilst maintaining accuracy
  • Keen eye for detail and ability to prioritise own workload
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
