About the School: Located in Canterbury, this primary school is dedicated to creating a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where every child can excel. With a focus on holistic development and academic success, they aim to instill a lifelong love for learning in their students.

The Role:As a Teaching Assistant, you'll play a key role in supporting the classroom teacher to create a stimulating and supportive learning atmosphere. Your responsibilities will include providing one-on-one support, assisting small groups, and helping with classroom activities. You'll also contribute to maintaining a positive environment that promotes well-being and development for all students.

Requirements:

  • Legal right to work in the UK
  • Availability for full-time work, Monday to Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm
  • Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service, or be willing to obtain one (we'll cover the £46 cost after you've completed 20 days of work with us)
  • Prior experience working with children is not essential; it's more about having the right approach!
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with young learners
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • A proactive, flexible approach to supporting student learning and development
