We are currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled Clinical Deputy Manager to join our team at our care facility in Canterbury.About the Role: As a Clinical Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the overall leadership of the care home, ensuring high-quality care is provided to all residents. You will work closely with the Home Manager to oversee the clinical and day-to-day operations, manage staff, and ensure the facility meets all regulatory standards.Responsibilities:

  • Support the Home Manager in the day-to-day management of the care home, ensuring the smooth running of operations.
  • Lead, supervise, and support the nursing team, ensuring high standards of clinical care.
  • Ensure compliance with Care Quality Commission (CQC) standards and other regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in managing staff rotas, recruitment, training, and development.
  • Conduct assessments of residents’ needs and plan individual care pathways.
  • Provide clinical leadership and support to all staff, ensuring best practice standards are maintained.
  • Assist in the management of budgets, resources, and operational goals.

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) with an active NMC pin.
  • Previous experience in a senior nursing role within a care home or similar healthcare environment.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of CQC guidelines, clinical best practices, and healthcare regulations.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
